I hadn’t planned on writing a response to the
mass media attacks on my
campaign, but at this point I realize that it’s necessary. Recently the
St. Petersburg Times and the Tampa Tribune have spread lies about my
candidacy. Both newspapers are very angry with the things that I said
during the
Pasco-Hernando Community College debate
which took place on October 7th.
During the debate I cited the fact that the
mass media works to
manipulate public opinion against those who work for the interests of
America’s majority. It is glaringly obvious to me and to most people
that the mass media is diametrically opposed to white people organizing
politically.
The media has gone as far as to call my campaign platform racist, which
is a total falsehood. As you will see from
my videos and from my
campaign
literature there’s nothing that would constitute any form of racism.
My platform consists of cutting gas taxes, halving the
salaries of all state level elected officials, expanding police
auxiliary programs throughout our state and giving my entire salary
to the Pasco county school board.
These are all very positive points which would greatly benefit not only
the people of Pasco but all Floridians regardless of their background. But
these things aren’t important to the
mass media.
What is important to the
media is to continue to spread lies and
falsehoods about my campaign and to manipulate public opinion against
me. The
mass media doesn’t want someone like me to get elected not
because of my past activism but because they want the people of our
great state to continue to suffer.
So not only is the
media working against the long-term interests of all
Floridians, it is also practicing racism against whites by manipulating
public opinion against those whites who are trying to organize
politically for the long-term interests of the majority.
Unfortunately the American mass media will continue to work against the
public’s interests until it is replaced with a
responsible alternative.
